KHOO SIEW BEE (K30350) Scored a hole-in-one on 25 February 2024 at the 14th Hole New Course.
“I Invited two guests from RSGC Reciprocal Clubs – Dato Seri Steven Cheah from Royal Pahang Golf Club and Ms Nadine Ho from Sabah Golf & Country Club for Sunday, 25 February 2024 morning tee-off. We played on the front nine at the second Old Course. After arriving at Hole No. 14, we waited for about 7 minutes as a flight of 3 ladies was in front of us. After the two male players teed off, l stepped onto the tee box and checked the distance which l figured was about 128 yards. I pulled out my XXIO Hybrid, had a practice swing, stepped up and boom… good contact, the ball flying nicely. Landed on the front, rolled up and the ball disappeared.
I told everyone that my ball had rolled off the green. But my playing partner Ms Nadine said the ball had rolled in the hole. I dismissed her claim and said it was unlikely. As we walked up to the green, Ms Nadine went directly to the hole and exclaimed… ‘See, l told you so.’ The ball went into the hole. It’s a Hole-in-One! I then ran up and true enough, my goodness, my second Holein-One in less than 6 months. My first was at the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club on 8 September 2023 at the 12th Hole Garden Course. Distant 104 meters uphill. What a good start for 2024!”
