Showcasing the talented Aruel & The Fasola, this was the eighth in the series that began in 2023.
This particular edition of Live At The Green proved to be one of the most successful, with a total of 70 Members and guests registered. Normally held on a Tuesday, this pocket event has turned out to be very popular and creates something different for Members who enjoy listening to great music performed by talented Malaysian artistes.
As expected, the music featured true Malay classics which we had not heard for many years (but could still remember the words!). Among the songs performed were Hati Muda, Nilai Cinta, Darah Muda and the upbeat duet Gelora. P Ramlee and Saloma were not left out, turning the night into one filled with nostalgia. The crowd did not need much invitation to take to the dance floor, and ‘ronggeng-ed’ the night away. To wrap up the night on a high note, the performers treated everyone to an encore featuring the much-awaited Bila Larut Malam and Malam Pesta Muda Mudi with everyone singing along.

I love P. Ramlee’s songs they’re so nostalgic and always bring back wonderful memories. Enjoying them with all my friends here makes the experience even more special. It’s a great way to bond and celebrate together.

You’ve got to make this event happen every month—at least once! The theme is delightful, and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. I came here for the songs, and for those who love ‘lagu lama’, this is the perfect setting to relax and soak in the music. It truly brings people together!
In keeping with the theme, the CPRESC decided that instead of the traditional parade of waiters bringing in free pizza during the band’s break, the audience would be served complimentary packets of nasi lemak which were enthusiastically welcomed.
Live At The Green turns The Green into a cosy lounge with sofas and comfy armchairs, creating the perfect atmosphere for a musical evening. Cocktail tables are also positioned towards the rear of the room so everyone has a good view of the stage.
