This festive gathering provided an opportunity for Members to come together, celebrate the Festival of Lights, and enjoy a splendid evening of cultural performances and delicious food.
The event kicked off at 7pm with the arrival of Members and their families, who were warmly welcomed to The Club for an evening of festivities. As Members settled in, the atmosphere quickly filled with excitement and anticipation for the evening ahead. Soon after, the buffet dinner was served, offering an array of traditional Indian dishes that paid homage to the rich flavours of Deepavali.
Throughout the evening, the entertainment was centred around vibrant cultural performances. As the night continued, Members were treated to another round of live music and dance, with a second set of cultural performances taking centre stage, followed by a third set of live instrumental music to close out the evening. The performances, curated by Pandavas (Culture Band Performances) and Vehaara Arts (Culture Dance Performance), brought to life the spirit of Deepavali, captivating the audience with their skillful musicianship and vibrant dance routines.
The buffet at the Deepavali Open House featured a delectable array of traditional Indian dishes including nasi briyani, butter chicken, mutton varuval, fish curry, aloo gabi, dalca, mini murtabak with onion sauce, vegetable samosas, poori with potato masala, murukku and chapati.
