The ninth edition of the Live At The Green pocket event series, featuring Kai Chalmers performing the music of Sinatra, Buble and more in A Crooner’s Romance, turned out to be one of the most popular shows of the series, selling out in just two weeks with a waiting list of impatient Members. It certainly gave a signal to the CPRESC about the favourite music choices of our Members.
Regular patrons of Live At The Green enjoying the night
First-timers were pleasantly surprised to see the transformation of The Green into a relaxed, casual setting with sofas and armchairs around low coffee tables. An hour of complimentary free-flow drinks and freshly popped popcorn, made for the perfect show experience. After the complimentary nasi lemak served during the break at the Malam Ronggeng the month before, we reverted back to the regular free pizzas for this show.
Kai Chalmers inviting the audience to join him
Guests were captivated by the young and good-looking Kai Chalmers who covered all the familiar oldies, and one by one the audience applauded to the songs they recognised and sang along too.
As always, Live At The Green presents a warm, intimate engaging experience where good music, great company, and delightful refreshments are the focus of the evening. It was another wonderful night of live music that attendees won’t soon forget. Many made immediate bookings for December’s edition.
The CPRESC is pleased with the success of this pocket event, encouraging Members to return to the club for enjoyable evenings of musical entertainment. Now that Members have discovered this regular event, they will eagerly look forward to attend the next one. We try to feature a variety of different music genres to cater for all our Members.
More Live At The Green events are lined up for 2025, so be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming announcements!
