This festive season, RSGC was graced with a captivating Christmas carol performance, bringing joy and warmth to the holiday celebrations. On Saturday, 21 December 2024, the Main Lobby resonated with harmonious melodies as Together With Him (TWH), a talented group led by RSGC Member Rahim Ismail delighted members and guests alike.
Who Are Together With Him?
TWH comprises 11 passionate singers, all members of the Royal Lake Club, with some also being Members of RSGC, who came together through their shared love for music and singing. This group was founded by Rahim Ismail in October 2023, and its members are alumni of Rahim’s course, “7 Steps to Singing Karaoke,” where they honed their vocal talents. The group is managed by Ajeet Ahluwalia, whose leadership has been instrumental in their success.
The group includes accomplished individuals such as:
- Rahim Ismail: Past President of the Royal Lake Club, Musical Director of the Seasons 4 acappella group, and interclub karaoke champion.
- Elizabeth Tan: General Committee Royal Lake Club.
- Pansy Lee: Past General Committee Royal Lake Club and Royal Commonwealth Society, and Royal Commonwealth Society Karaoke Champion.
- Ria Thomas: Member of both the Royal Lake Club and RSGC.
- Ajeet Ahluwalia: TWH Manager, Member of both the Royal Lake Club and RSGC, and Commonwealth Society Karaoke Champion.
- Other members like Rena Low, Leona Lee, Anastasia Degoulange, Michael Hegelbach, Datin Suraya Falak, and guitarist Sonya Kaur
A Memorable Christmas Performance
The group’s performance at RSGC included a delightful selection of classic carols such as Hark, The Herald Angels Sing, The First Noel, O Holy Night, and Joy to the World, as well as festive favourites like Jingle Bell Rock and Feliz Navidad. Their vibrant voices and heartfelt renditions created a magical atmosphere for everyone present.
A Touching Contribution at Wishing Upon RSGC
Adding to their festive spirit, TWH performed earlier in the week during the Wishing Upon RSGC event on 18 December 2024, bringing smiles and joy to orphans. Their carols spread warmth and goodwill, making the season extra special for the children.
Beyond RSGC
In addition to their performance at RSGC, the group is also performing at The Royal Lake Club, The Royal Commonwealth Society, and 28 Bangsar Restaurant, sharing the holiday spirit far and wide.
This year’s carolling events at RSGC showcased the beauty of community, the power of music, and the spirit of giving. Together With Him not only entertained but also inspired, making the festive season unforgettable for all.
