The New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance Party at RSGC was the ultimate way to ring in 2025! The event was a lively mix of festive food, incredible entertainment, and plenty of fun, creating an unforgettable night for Members and their guests.
The evening began with Members arriving in their finest attire. To add a playful touch, light-up spectacles were provided to Members, which lit up the room and set a vibrant tone for the night. Before entering the venue, Members and guests were invited to capture the moment at the photo booth, creating fun memories. Following that, a lively cocktail reception was held, where guests enjoyed Champagne, Beer, and Soft Drinks, accompanied by Peanuts, Pretzels, and Nacho Chips.
Cheers to new beginnings
Formalities began with the Captain delivering his Welcome Speech, setting the tone for the celebrations. He mentioned how exciting it was to see so many younger Members and guests joining the event this year, which truly elevated the energy and made it even more fun and lively.
The highlight of the evening was the exquisite 4-course dinner, starting with Pan-Seared Maguro and followed by a choice of Roast Australian Ribeye, Spring Chicken and Baked Norwegian Salmon, all served with delicious sides. To round off the meal, for the first time, guests had a choice of 3 indulgent desserts like Chocolate Brownies, Creme Caramel, and Bread and Butter Pudding.
Here’s a little secret: the menu was tested by the CPRESC and FBPSSC Members to ensure that every dish was perfect and met the high standards of the club. The results certainly spoke for themselves, as guests thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
As the night went on, the energy on the dance floor soared. Poovaa, an award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer renowned for her powerful voice and dynamic performances, took the stage with her 6-piece band. She gained international recognition after being named ‘Best New Artist’ at Malaysia’s AIM 2014 Awards and has since performed across Asia and Europe. Together, they delivered high-energy performances that had everyone moving to hits like The Best by Tina Turner, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Gloria Gaynor, and Celebration by Kool & The Gang.
Deejay DeRajj also kept the party vibe alive with his electrifying mixes. One of the highlights of the evening was the dance circle. where Members showed off their moves in the middle while the crowd cheered them on. The energy was infectious, and everyone had a blast!
Countdown to Midnight
As the night built towards its climax, excitement reached fever pitch. At the stroke of midnight, everyone joined in the countdown to 2025, raising their glasses for a champagne toast, celebrating with cheers and a blast of confetti. It was the perfect way to welcome the New Year in style.
The celebration continued with more dancing and a late-night snack of Packet Nasi Lemak and Teh Tarik, fuelling the partygoers as they kept dancing and enjoying the night.
From the spontaneous dance circle to the lively music, the night was filled with laughter, dancing, and excitement. DJ De Rajj kept the beats flowing between performances, and the energy never waned. Members and guests danced and celebrated all night long, creating lasting memories to welcome 2025.
