The Royal Selangor Golf Club brought festive cheer to life on Saturday, 20 December 2025, with its annual Children’s Christmas Party held at the Banquet Hall. The event welcomed 43 children, accompanied by their parents and guardians, creating a lively and heartwarming atmosphere filled with laughter, excitement, and holiday spirit.
The afternoon began with the arrival of the children at 2.00pm, where they were greeted with a colourful setting and a delightful buffet high tea. The spread featured a selection of favourites including pizza, spaghetti chicken bolognese, chicken nuggets, french fries, and cocktail sausages, alongside refreshing beverages. Adding to the indulgence were treats such as popcorn, cotton candy, soft ice cream, and a chocolate fountain, which proved to be a highlight among the young guests.
A variety of interactive activities kept the children engaged throughout the event. Creative stations such as sand art and face painting allowed them to express themselves, while a cheerful elf entertained with balloon sculpting. A clown magician further delighted the children with playful tricks and interactive performances, bringing laughter and wonder to the celebration. The programme was complemented by a series of dance performances and games, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
The appearance of Santa Claus was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated highlights of the day. Children gathered eagerly to meet Santa, capturing joyful moments and embracing the magic of Christmas. The Best Dressed Boy and Girl segment also added excitement, as participants showcased their festive outfits with enthusiasm and charm.
Each child also received a delightful music box carousel as a door gift, a meaningful keepsake that plays a gentle melody while the carousel turns, allowing them to bring home a piece of the day’s magic.
The Children’s Christmas Party remains a cherished tradition at the Club, offering a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the festive season. It was truly a joyful occasion, filled with memorable moments for all who attended.
