Hiroko Suzuki Wins Queen Elizabeth Coronation Cup 2026

The Queen Elizabeth Coronation Cup 2026 was held over two rounds on 4 and 5 April 2026, bringing together 15 Members for one of the Ladies Golf Section’s annual competitions. Played in stroke play format, the opening round took place on the Old Course, followed by the final round on the New Course.

Open to Members of the Ladies Golf Section with a valid WHS Handicap Index of 32.8 and below at the closing date of entries, the competition once again showcased competitive yet enjoyable golf among participants.

After two rounds of play, Hiroko Suzuki emerged as champion with a total nett score of 149, following rounds of 76 and 73. Lilian Liew finished runner-up with a total nett score of 151 on countback after carding rounds of 71 and 78, while Sim Jane secured the Best Gross title with a total gross score of 157.

Reflecting on her victory, Hiroko said, “I am truly honoured to have won the Queen Elizabeth Coronation Cup. I honestly did not expect to win. I have been playing golf at RSGC for over 20 years, and I am grateful that I can continue to enjoy the game thanks to the support of my fellow players and the organisers. This victory means a great deal to me, and I will continue working hard to improve my game. Thank you very much.”
