The Glassford Cup is one of RSGC’s oldest trophies. It was named after John and Clem Glassford, two Scottish brothers who helped found the Club in 1893. Clem served as Club Captain for 15 years, and together, the brothers played an important role in shaping RSGC’s early years. When Clem retired from Malaya in 1909, Members honoured their contribution by commissioning the Glassford Cup, which remains a proud part of the Club’s history today.
