The Lake Cup 2026 delivered an exciting finish on the Old Course on 11 July 2026, with 40 RSGC Members taking part in the annual Men’s Competition.
Following 18 holes of stroke play, five players returned with scores of 70 nett. Aiden Kei, Razman Ariff, Mark Leong, John Ang and Adrian Teo headed to 1st Old for a playoff to decide the winner.
The playoff began on the par-four 1st Old, where Aiden made an immediate impact with a birdie. With the Cup still within reach for all five players, Aiden held his nerve to emerge as the Lake Cup 2026 Champion.
Aiden also recorded the Best Gross score of the competition with an impressive 68 gross.
At 20, the victory adds another title to Aiden’s growing list of achievements at RSGC. He was previously crowned RSGC Club Champion in 2023 and has continued to make his mark in the Club’s competitions.
Razman Ariff finished runner-up with 70 nett on countback, while Adrian Teo, Mark Leong and John Ang also finished with 70 nett.

From its first champion in 1906 to a 20-year-old former Club Champion adding his name to the trophy, the 2026 Lake Cup has added another memorable chapter to the competition’s long history.

The Lake Cup has been part of RSGC’s golfing history for more than a century. First played in 1906, the competition was won by J. G. Glassford, the Cup’s inaugural champion.
More than a century later, the Lake Cup continues to bring RSGC Members together for competitive golf. This year’s playoff provided another memorable finish and added a new chapter to the Cup’s long-standing history.
