The RSGC Senior Ladies’ Masters Competition was held on 25 July 2026 on the Old Course, with 24 Senior Ladies taking part in the first edition of the competition under its new name and format. The event replaces the former Golden Girls Challenge, with the new structure introducing two age-based categories to encourage wider participation among Senior Ladies.
After 18 holes of Stableford, Dorothy Ng emerged as the Overall Champion with an excellent 37 points, while Lilian Liew finished runner-up with 34 points. In the age categories, Kanae Yutani claimed Category A (55–64 years) with 34 points, while Alyah Tan won Category B (65 years and above) with 34 points.
For Dorothy, the victory came with a story of determination. Feeling unwell before the competition, she had almost decided to withdraw but chose to play, hoping to help keep the field strong for the first RSGC Senior Ladies’ Masters under its new format.
“This win was a very sweet surprise. I am totally ecstatic winning the 1st Senior Masters Trophy. Now it’s no more a secret, I am above 55 years old. I hope this competition will be permanently on our Ladies’ Golf fixtures.
