Dear Members, As we reach mid-year, the Club is well entrenched with our Interport matches for Golf and Tennis. The golf fraternity has returned from Osaka after our friendly matches with Nara International Golf Club and Biwako Country Club, as usual, both Clubs were exceptional hosts (details inside).
On the tennis front, our team kicked off the year on a positive note with a victory against Kelab Darul Ehsan. We have several exciting matches linedup against esteemed opponents such as Royal Selangor Club, Lake Club (last year’s League Winners), Raintree Club, and Kelab Shah Alam Selangor. Please check our schedule and show your support during our home matches.
As we approach the Annual General Meeting, our focus will be on reviewing the Audited Accounts for 2023 and electing new Office Bearers. It’s heartening to see Members stepping forward to serve on the Committee, showcasing the spirit of dedication and commitment within our community. The Club is full of the most respected Professionals and Entrepreneurs but many don’t have the time. While some may find it challenging to allocate time for formal roles, many contribute as Subcommittee Members or Independent Committee Chairman.
Lastly, I will have completed my tenure as Captain and I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the privilege of serving as your Captain. It has been a rewarding journey, made possible by the collective efforts of our Committee and Management. Special mention to my fellow Committee Members, together, we have worked tirelessly to enhance various aspects of our operations, resulting in significant improvements reflected in our accounts over the past two years.
Let us continue to uphold the values of our Club, supporting each other in our endeavours and acknowledging the hard work of our Committee Members and Management. Your continued involvement and enthusiasm are crucial to our ongoing success.
