The annual Mid-Year Golf Awards Ceremony was a grand affair, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our talented golfers who triumphed in the Club Competitions over the first half of 2024.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Captain Raymond Yeoh, who addressed the gathering and set the tone for an afternoon of celebration. As the applause settled, Green Convenor David Mah took to the stage, ready to honour the young stars of our golfing community. With great enthusiasm, David presented the Junior Golf Medals, recognising the exceptional skills and dedication of our junior golfers from January to July 2024. Their dedication to the sport is truly inspiring and reflects the bright future of golf at our club.

Next, the attention turned to Lady Golf Captain, Ai-leen Tan. With elegance and poise, Ai-leen presented the Ladies Medals to the winners who excelled between January and July 2024. Each recipient was celebrated for their remarkable performance and sportsmanship, highlighting their skill and commitment on the course.
Following this, Golf Convenor Dilsher Singh took center stage. Dilsher was tasked with recognising the achievements of the Men’s Monthly Medal winners from January to July 2024. His excitement was palpable as he awarded the prizes to those who had shown exceptional consistency and skill throughout the monthly competitions.
The ceremony continued with Membership & Governance Convenor Ezani Abu Bakar, who presented awards to the distinguished winners of the RSGC Senior Golfers Quarterly Medal, Berrington Gold Medal, and Consolation Cup. Each awardee was acknowledged for their outstanding contributions and achievements in the senior categories.
In the final segment of the evening, Captain Raymond Yeoh returned to present the prestigious trophies for the Men’s and Ladies’ Trophy Events. These awards celebrated the highest level of golfing prowess and sportsmanship, bringing the ceremony to a memorable close.
