Pickleball: The Fast-Growing Sport Taking the World by Storm

Pickleball is a cross between tennis, badminton and ping pong, played indoors or outdoors, on a court about a quarter the size of a tennis court and with a slightly lower net. Using a smooth faced paddle and a plastic ball with holes, pickleball is primarily played in doubles and is generally considered easier than tennis.

It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels.

Rules for this game are simple, making it a great introductory sport. Here is how to serve from a pro: So, when I am hitting my serve, the motion is Kind of a C. And when you are going back into the C, you are kind-of loading all your weight.

And when you are pushing out, you are transferring that weight into the ball. When you are hitting your serve, you need to be mindful, that there are some rules that go with it. One of them is that you need to be behind the service line. And the second is that you need to make contact underneath your belly button.

We have four pickleball courts and they are getting very popular with our club members. Friends and families enjoy wonderful time together. Christine, Grace, Irene, Guest
