On a perfect morning with excellent weather, 22 members from RSGC gathered on the pristine grass courts of RBSC for an Interclub friendly match. The event was a showcase of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and mutual respect, strengthening the bond between the two clubs.

KICK-OFF ACTIVITIES

The day began with registration, a light meal, and a warm-up session. Members exchanged gifts, with Justin Ong, RSGC’s Sports, Family & Junior Development Convenor, presenting on behalf of RSGC. Group photos were taken to commemorate the occasion.

MATCHES

The competitive matches started with five doubles pairings. RSGC secured a hard-fought win in the mixed doubles after an exciting tiebreak. All matches were dynamic, skillful, and spirited, with players giving their best on the zoysia grass courts. The friendly matches followed, featuring rotating partners, fun gameplay, and great camaraderie among players.

Post-Match Luncheon

After wrapping up matches by noon, players enjoyed a delightful lunch at the tennis clubhouse. The menu featured a rice, green curry, beef gyudon with onsen eggs, noodles, and ice cream, which provided a satisfying end to a great day. Conversations flowed as players exchanged stories and ideas, strengthening ties between the two clubs.
