This month, we sampled two highlights from the Club’s kitchens — one a comforting local classic, the other a seafood indulgence perfect for sharing.

LAMB FRIED RICE RM16+ (MAIN LOUNGE)

Sometimes the simplest dishes bring the most comfort. The Lamb Fried Rice arrives with a sunny-side-up egg, cucumber slices, and prawn crackers. A presentation that feels instantly familiar. The rice is fried with pieces of lamb, green beans, and egg, then finished with a sprinkle of fried shallots and spring onions. Each mouthful has a light smoky note and savoury bite, balanced by the freshness of the sides. At RM16+, it’s not extravagant, but it’s hearty, satisfying, and the kind of meal you can enjoy any day of the week.

A bountiful spread from the sea — prawns, mussels, squid, and fish, perfect for sharing.

Over at Modesto’s, the Mixed Seafood Platter makes its presence known the moment it’s set down. Prawns, mussels, squid, and fish fillets are neatly arranged with lemon wedges and greens, creating a spread that feels festive without trying too hard. Grilled with a light touch, the seafood keeps its natural sweetness, letting each item stand on its own. It’s generous enough for two or more, and at RM88+, it turns a simple dinner into something worth lingering over with friends or family.
